This is the first edition of The Medicus Tiro Monthly — a brief update for investors, partners, and friends of the company. What we're building, where we are, and what's ahead.

The Thesis in One Line
Medicus Tiro is building the AI operating layer for the physician journey — from the first year of medical school to the first year of independent practice. That's the most important decade of a physician's career, and the least supported by modern technology.
Every product we build generates proprietary intelligence — competency trajectories, workforce readiness, predictive compliance — that compounds over time and creates a data moat no competitor can replicate by bolting AI onto a legacy system.
Where We Are
Flagship product — GME Manager — is in active demos.
The Family Medicine Edition is a complete, working prototype covering all four personas (Resident, Faculty, Program Director, Coordinator) with live AI features across scheduling, evaluations, CCC deliberation, ABFM attestation, duty hours, and analytics. Early feedback has been positive.
Free pilots open mid-May via our LaunchPad Pilot™ — a self-guided 90-day trial with AI-powered onboarding, structured feedback at 30/60/90 days, and zero implementation staff required. We believe if your product needs an implementation team, your product isn't good enough.
We expect to announce our initial investor in next month's edition. More to come.
Why GME Manager, Why Now
A regulatory catalyst. CBME isn't coming — it's here. FM programs must attest to 15 competency outcomes by June 2026; all specialties follow by July 2028. Program Directors now personally attest that residents are competent — a liability shift, not just a compliance update. GME Manager is built for this — and it's the first of many products we're bringing to market.
A market ready for what's next. The incumbent platforms have served this industry admirably — good companies, good people. They built solutions for the problems of their era. We're building agentic AI for the problems of this one.
A technology inflection. Foundation models are production-ready. What matters now is domain-specific application — curated data, specialty benchmarks, and workflows built for how programs actually operate.
Composable Agentic AI
Every Medicus Tiro product is built on a composable agentic AI framework — and that's a strategic asset, not just a technical choice.
The AI agents we build for one product are designed to be recomposed across every product we ship. This is already happening:
GME Onboarding Manager extends the composable AI framework to Match Day through Day One — a program's one chance to make a first impression on its incoming class, and a workflow every program still handles manually. Enter your specialty, state, and class list — the AI configures itself and runs autonomously. One large, prominent health system zeroed in on this solution after identifying onboarding as a top challenge. They're reviewing our prototype and may emerge as a partner to bring it to market.
GME AI Advisor takes the agentic AI core from GME Manager — AI-drafted evaluations, CCC prep packages, ABFM attestation mapping, compliance prediction — and delivers it to programs locked into legacy platforms. They keep their current system. They gain AI capabilities no competitor offers. Several Family Medicine programs have expressed interest in GME AI Advisor as a starting point — the fastest path to value for programs that aren't ready to switch.
GME Recruitment Manager brings composable agentic AI to residency recruitment for PDs, Coordinators, and Faculty. One-Click Applicant Profiles™ transform raw ERAS data into reviewable summaries with AI-generated evaluations. From there: screening, reviewing, interviewing, and ranking — with as much or as little AI as you choose. Variable Autonomy™ at every stage.
The pattern is deliberate: composable AI means we build the intelligence once and deploy it across the journey. Every new product strengthens the agents that power the others.
Institutional Integration Architecture
This deserves a moment, because it's central to how we think about enterprise value.
The institutional memory layer for GME won't be built by aggregating CSV uploads into a dashboard. It requires deep, AI-generated program intelligence — competency trajectories, workforce readiness signals, predictive compliance — flowing into the enterprise platforms that already serve thousands of health systems.
We build that intelligence. We don't pretend a recruitment tool is an operating system. We partner with platforms that actually operate at the institutional scale — enterprise healthcare workforce platforms with identity management, validated reference data, and integrations already serving thousands of health systems.
This is how Medicus Tiro becomes infrastructure for the agents that will run GME — and it's why the data we generate over 35+ year physician relationships has compounding value that point-solution competitors can't access.
Using AI to Build AI
This is a new world for all of us. We believe we're on the vanguard of it.
Medicus Tiro is built with AI, not just by developers using AI. We selected Anthropic's Claude to power our full development pipeline — from design through production code — joining a growing wave of AI-native startups where the product and the process are inseparable. The result: startup velocity, startup agility, at a fraction of the expected cost.
For investors evaluating our capital efficiency, this matters — we've already proven we can ship at this pace.
What's Next — With the Right Partner
Our focus runs from the first year of medical school to the first year of independent practice. Within that span, we've identified and validated ten additional product opportunities beyond GME Manager — each scoped, designed, and documented to the level visible on our website.
We build when the right partner and capital are in place. Current pipeline includes:
Near-term (seeking partners now):
GME Onboarding Manager, GME AI Advisor
Agentic AI extensions (building toward):
Medical Student Rotation Manager, APP Residency Engine, APP Oversight AI, Life Support Instructor Hub, Precision Learning Engine, Physician Career Network, Physician as the Source of Truth™, GME Recruitment Manager
Each represents a validated market opportunity with defined scope, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategy. Full product briefs are live at medicustiro.ai.
One Ask
If you're a current or prospective investor, potential partner, or enterprise platform operating at institutional scale in healthcare — we'd welcome a conversation about what we're building and where we're headed.
And if you know anyone in the medical residency space — especially Family Medicine Program Directors or Coordinators — we'd be grateful for the introduction.
If you haven't already, consider subscribing to GME Manager Monthly — our product-focused newsletter for the GME community. Different audience, different content, but it's the best way to see what we're building up close. Subscribe here →
